Remember the injured duck we found at our gate?  For a background see – http://bit.ly/13zEOAa & http://bit.ly/12WRJl7

Well he moved into an animal sanctuary called ‘A Poultry Place’ as a permanent resident & has been there for a week now.

Bede Carmody runs A Poultry Place offering sanctuary to chickens, ducks, turkeys, peacocks & geese at his property near Canberra & has done so since 2001.  Over ten years he adopted almost 400 roosters saving them from certain death.  A Poultry Place concentrates on offering sanctuary to fowl, but Bede has also adopted cats, horses, guinea pigs, dogs & goats.

People like Bede make this world a better place.  His work is dependent on finances, so if you would like to make a donation to his cause you can here –

I reckon Marvin thinks he has landed in Duck Heaven.  I promise not to write about him again unless he wins Lotto.
