White-faced Heron seen in Marrickville. No points for guessing how much biodiversity impacts on my life.

White-faced Heron seen in Marrickville. No points for guessing how much biodiversity impacts on my wellbeing.  🙂

This came via Marrickville Council’s email newsletter Enviro Post.

Lucy Taylor, a Doctoral Candidate at Sydney University “is conducting an online survey of urban residents to see whether they think the area’s biodiversity impacts their wellbeing. The survey asks questions about how people interact with nature, how they value nature, what they know about their local nature and some general wellbeing and demographic questions.”

I’ve completed the survey & it asks some very good questions. It will be interesting to see the results.

The survey closes on Wednesday 30th April 2014.

You can do the survey here  – www.whoneedsnature.com
