Marrickville Council will be holding their National Tree Day event this Sunday 10th August from 10.30am – 1.00pm at Tillman Park Sydenham.

Council says the community will be able to participate in “planting local native trees, shrubs, sedges, grasses, ferns & groundcovers.”

I noticed that Council has planted around 7 trees along the railway fence line in the last couple of months.
