Tagging trees

The above photo was taken in Petersham.   It’s great to see that a young person thought spraying graffiti on a street tree was not a great thing to do & also chose to do something about it.

While I do like street art, I don’t like to see trees tagged with graffiti.  I think it an immature act & it reminds me of dogs who leave their mark behind.  Unfortunately it is on the increase.  Perhaps signs like this one will make the tagger think twice about doing this to other trees & just allow them to be beautiful.  We need as much beauty as we can get.
